Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Scholarship

 

The scholarship is aimed at international students and graduates who have acquired a university degree in their home country and who intend to complete master studies or doctoral studies at a university in Germany.

Country: Germany

Host Universities:- 

· Different German Universities

Study Level:  Masters, PhD

Scholarship Benefits: - 

· Monthly scholarship of € 861for Masters students (2 years)

· Monthly scholarship of € 1200 for PhD students (3 years)

· Standard funding period is two years

· Health care insurance up to € 120 per month

· Family allowance of € 276 per month

· PhD-scholars can apply for financial assistance for research stays abroad

Eligibility Criteria: The main criteria to be admitted to our program are:

· a university degree

· above average academic performance

· a high degree of voluntary work

· B2 German proficiency***

Required Documents:-

· Copy of passport

· Certified copies of official transcripts

· A full curriculum vitae (CV)

· Motivation letter 

· Two letters of recommendation

· Offer letter from a German University

· Research proposal (only for PhD applicants)

· Supervision consent by the potential supervisor (only for PhD applicants)

*** The scholarship requires B2 German proficiency as a prerequisite for application. Eligible candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. This scholarship is offered annually, and candidates who do not currently possess B2 German proficiency can plan to undertake a German language course, which is a common practice among students in Pakistan. Scholarships in Germany are widely regarded as some of the best available.
